These chairs are meticulously crafted using a traditional wood bending process – in the same factory that’s specialised in the technique since 1861. The bending wood process gives it strength, which means each piece lasts for generations. Each chair is manually crafted from six bent beech rods, and has a minimal construction with just two bolts and ten screws. These chairs have a contemporary design as well as a timeless quality which looks beautiful to any style of home. They are ideal as a dining chair but also work well in a home office or bedroom.

The Ton Armchair 33 is made from timber that has dried for three + months depending on the wood type, it’s then saturated with steam at 100°C to be formed by hand into the chair shape on pre-formed moulds. Your choice of wood stain ( or natural ) finish is then taken to be processed in the dipping tank rooms. After this is dry the piece will be assembled by hand and a clear lacquer applied.
